Things to See and Do in Mahon, Menorca
As one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, off the eastern coast of Spain, Menorca is an ideal place to spend a relaxed visit. Though it is smaller than its neighbour, Majorca, and less busy than the resorts of Ibiza, Menorca has as many beaches as both Majorca and Ibiza combined. It's the second largest of all of the Balearic islands, behind its louder and slightly wilder neighbour Majorca, and, as such, offers visitors a chance to take in the art and history the island boasts while not having to venture too far away from their Menorca villas. While on Menorca, why not spend some time in the capital city of Mahon, or Mao, visiting the area around Port Mahon and soaking up the culture and history?
